Swedish state-owned utility Vattenfall AB today said it has filed with the Scottish government a scoping report for a wind park at Musdale in Argyllshire, Scotland.
The planned project will include as many as 26 turbines with a blade tip height of up to 200 metres (656 ft) and a combined capacity of up to 156 MW. The report outlines the scope of environmental assessment work to be conducted over the next months.
A two-month consultation period will start in December, with local people able to give their feedback on the proposal.
The company will prepare a proposal and design before submitting an application for approval of the project construction towards the end of 2021.
