(ADPnews) - Nov 18, 2010 - US alternative projects investment firm Clean Energy and Power Inc (PINK:KEPI), or CEP, said on Tuesday it will set up a new division to focus on the development of biofuel from non-edible feedstock.
In the next few days the company will disclose its strategic partner in this new direction and the type of feedstock it plans to use.
"My earlier experience in developing an economical method for generating biofuel from algae at Biocentric Algae has led me to continue my research into non-edible feedstock that will be even more economical than algae and yield greater amounts of bio fuel over shorter periods of time," company president Dennis Shen said.
The move is in line with CEP's plan to expand its business through green energy projects that will soon bring profitable revenue streams.
