UK Pursuit Dynamics gets ethanol reactor order in US

Sep 13, 2011 - UK technology developer Pursuit Dynamics plc (LON:PDX) said last week it had agreed to install an ethanol reactor system at US Marquis Energy LLC's plant in the state of Wisconsin.

The system will have an annual capacity of 50 million gallons (189 million litres). Subject to satisfactory operational validations, the two companies will next agree commercial terms.

This is the second such agreement between Marquis and PDX. The UK company has already installed an ethanol reactor unit at a Marquis plant in Illinois. The system came online in the middle of June 2011 and is running in optimisation mode.

The current contract brings to 14 the number of installed or contracted PDX ethanol reactor systems, with a combined capacity of one billion gallons a year.
