Danish wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) said today it has repurchased a total of DKK 191 million (USD 28m/EUR 25.6m) worth of shares last week under its previously announced programme.
Between December 7 and December 11, the company has bought back a total of 425,000 own shares, it said in a statement.
On November 5, the company announced a plan to repurchase up to DKK 1.12 billion worth of own shares to adjust its capital structure and meet the obligations arising from employee share option programmes or other share allocations to Vestas staff. So far, it has bought back some DKK 978 million of stock in total.
