Danish wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) said on Thursday it has secured a firm and unconditional order for a total of 101 MW from an unnamed customer in the US.
The company said that under the terms of the deal it will supply and commission machines of the V126-3.45 MW and V117-3.45 MW models with Power Optimized Mode to 3.6 MW. The order also includes a five-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service contract.
Vestas expects to deliver the turbines next year. The company did not disclose the name of the project either.
