UK closed ended investment company The Renewables Infrastructure Group Ltd (LON:TRIG) is considering investing in a broader array of projects including offshore wind and energy-supporting infrastructure.
The company’s investors have approved in May an increase in the allocation limit to technologies other than onshore wind and solar photovoltaics (PV) to 20% of the portfolio by value, it says in its interim report for the six months through June 30, 2016.
TRIG noted that offshore wind is “a sector with meaningful scale and track record in the UK and elsewhere”.
