to-the-point: Tata Power commissions 100-MW wind park in Andhra Pradesh

The renewables unit of Indian power company Tata Power Co Ltd (BOM:500400) announced on Wednesday it has fully-commissioned the 100-MW Nimbagallu wind park in Andhra Pradesh state.
Having concluded this process for a 36-MW portion of the wind farm in December 2016, Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) has now commissioned the remaining 64 MW as well, it said. The Nimbagallu plant consists of 50 units from Spanish company Gamesa’s (BME:GAM) 2-MW wind turbine platform.
Tata Power Renewable Energy now has 1,959 MW of operating energy generation capacity, including 907 MW coming from wind farms, 932 MW from solar plants and 120 MW from waste heat recovery facilities.
