to-the-point: Swiss agro group ESG to buy 72 MW of Polish wind farms

November 26 (Renewables Now) - Swiss agricultural projects developer ESG EKO AGRO Group AG (ESG EAG) said on Monday it will acquire three wind farms in Poland with a combined capacity of 72 MW.

The company has entered into a binding memorandum of understanding for this transaction with an unnamed party. It said that by purchasing these assets it will secure the renewable energy supply for its agricultural projects in Italy.

The transaction is expected to be finalised in February 2020.

ESG EAG will provide more details about the acquisition upon its completion, it said in a brief statement.
