to-the-point: Rabbalshede Kraft buys Siemens-powered Swedish wind farm

November 30 (Renewables Now) - Swedish wind power company Rabbalshede Kraft AB said today it has bought the four-turbine Raftsjohojden wind farm in the municipality of Stromsund.

The facility has been operating since 2012, using SWT 101 turbines supplied by Siemens. It has an estimated annual production of 20 GWh.

Martin Pettersen, Head of Business Development at Rabbalshede Kraft, commented that the company recognised this low-risk asset as an attractive investment and added that it will continue to look for similar opportunities.

In turn, operational manager Lars Jacobsson said that the firm sees opportunities to grow its service business in the area.
