December 17 (Renewables Now) - Quadran Polska, part of French renewable energy company Quadran International, has acquired a Poland-based operations and maintenance (O&M) service provider from EDF Renewables for an undisclosed amount.

The name of the company will be changed to Quadran Polska Services, according to the statement. It will service the Linowo and Rzepin wind farms with a combined capacity of 106 MW that Quadran bought from EDF Renewables, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the French utility EDF Group, earlier in the year.

Quadran Polska CEO Krzysztof Wojtysiak said the acquisition is in line with the company's strategy of becoming a major player in the renewable energy market in Poland.
