November 12 (Renewables Now) - Portuguese renewable power company Finerge SA has bought two wind farms, with a combined capacity of 123 MW, from Brookfield Renewable Partners LP (NYSE:BEP), local media reported on Monday.

The two assets are Toutico of 102 MW and Lomba do Vale parks of 21 MW, which are located in Arganil and Montalegre, respectively. The former has been online since 2008. Those wind farms consist of 43 turbines supplied by Denmark's Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) and Germany’s Nordex (ETR:NDX1).

With this new acquisition, Finerge now has 1,041 MW of operational wind capacity divided between 45 facilities.
