to-the-point: Pension trust to sell stake in John Laing Enviro

John Laing Environmental Assets Group Ltd (LON:JLEN) today announced it has been informed by The John Laing Pension Trust Ltd that the latter wants to sell its stake in JLEN.

A bookbuilding process, coordinated by Winterflood Securities, has commenced and is expected to close on March 13, but that can also happen earlier or later than planned. March 15 is expected to be the settlement date.

The John Laing Pension Trust holds almost 22 million ordinary shares in JLEN, a company with 280 MW of wind, solar, waste-to-energy and biogas capacity in the UK and France. JLEN had 497 million ordinary shares issued as of end-2018.
