March 20 (Renewables Now) - German wind turbine maker Senvion SA (ETR:SEN) said today it has obtained an order for a 10.25-MW project that would be its first in Ireland.

Irish green asset manager NTR Plc has purchased five MM82 wind turbines for the Teevurcher wind farm in County Meath. Senvion will begin turbine deliveries in the summer of 2017 and expects to complete installation and commissioning towards the end of the year.

The company also got a long-term service and maintenance deal for the Irish project.

Last year, Senvion received an order from NTR, but for the Quixwood Moor wind project in the Scottish Borders.
