A couple from County Cork, Ireland have launched a High Court challenge over a decision by An Bord Pleanala to grant permit to an up-to-11-turbine wind farm near their home, the Irish Times reported on Monday.
Klaus Balz and Hanna Heubach claim that, among other things, the Board failed to take into account the noise impact of the project by Cleanrath Windfarm Ltd at Cleanrath, Inchigeelagh.
The company developing the wind farm appealed to An Bord Pleanala after Cork County Council approved the scheme with 40 conditions in 2016, the newspaper said.
