to-the-point: Goldwind to issue up to USD 300m of bonds
Chinese wind turbine maker Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology (HKG:2208) said Friday that one of its subsidiaries will issue credit enhanced bonds due 2018 of USD 300 billion (EUR 275.4m) in total.
The proceeds from the placement will be used for general working capital and refinancing purposes by the group, according to the statement.
Goldwind New Energy (HK) Investment Ltd already entered into a subscription agreement with Bank of China Ltd, the Singapore branch of Deutsche Bank AG and Societe Generale on July 16. Under the terms of the deal, the notes will have an annual interest rate of 2.5%, which will start to accrue on July 24.
