January 8 (Renewables Now) - French renewable energy firm Global EcoPower SA (EPA:ALGEP), or GEP, said today it has completed the sale of the 12.3-MW Perles wind park in the department of Aisne to the LHI Group of Germany.

The transaction involving the sale of SAS MSE Le Haut des Epinettes was finalised on December 29, GEP said in a bourse statement. The divested wind farm consists of six 2.05-MW Senvion turbines that were hooked to the grid in October 2017.

Also on Monday, GEP said it has moved into a new building where energy costs would be reduced by more than 50%.
