Danish company European Energy A/S on Sunday said it has agreed to sell a 25.05-MW wind farm in Kappel, Denmark to a fund managed by Aquila Capital.
The disposal is subject to customary conditions precedent, such as the closing of non-recourse project financing and issuance of take over certificates. Additional details on the deal were not disclosed.
The wind power plant has six pieces of V117 3.6-MW wind turbines by Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS), and one V126 3.45-MW machine.
European Energy this week upgraded its guidance for 2017 pre-tax profit to between EUR 12 million (USD 13m) and EUR 17 million. At the end of 2016, it had a pipeline of ready to build projects with a combined capacity of 242 MW.
