to-the-point: European Energy sheds 18-MW wind farm in Denmark

February 11 (Renewables Now) - European Energy A/S has signed an agreement to sell a part of an 18-MW wind farm in Denmark to an unnamed German investment management firm, the Danish wind and solar projects developer said on Friday.

The wind farm in the municipality of Ringkobing-Skjern has six turbines by Vestas (CPH:VWS). The German firm purchased five turbines, while European Energy A/S will keep the remaining one.

The sale is conditioned upon the fulfilment of some conditions precedent, the Danish company said.
