Danish wind and solar developer European Energy A/S announced on Friday it has closed the divestment of its 50% interest in a 20-MW wind farm in Italy.
The company said it has sold the stake to a German based investment fund, without disclosing its name. The value of the transaction was not revealed either.
The divested asset consists of 10 Vestas V110-2MW turbines. It has been operating since the start of the year.
“With this project, our activity level in Italy has been strengthened significantly. We have currently initiated the construction of another wind park in Italy with a total capacity of 40 MW and we are looking forward to developing many more projects here,” CEO Knud Erik Andersen stated.
