to-the-point: EIB clears EUR-48m loan for Austrian wind project

October 24 (Renewables Now) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has approved the provision of EUR 48 million (USD 56m) in financing for a 39-MW wind project in the Austrian federal state of Lower Austria.

The company that will benefit from the financing is Windkraft Simonsfeld AG. It is building three wind parks as part of the said project, whose total cost is estimated at EUR 69 million, according to information on EIB’s website.

The financing was approved on October 23.
