March 21 (Renewables Now) - A unit of China Energy Engineering Corp Ltd (HKG:3996) has entered into an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to build а 1,000-tonne-per-day (TPD) waste-to-energy plant for Cindrigo Inc in Ukraine.

The Chinese state-owned energy company will build a waste incineration power plant with an installed capacity totalling 20 MW in Kiev, it said Wednesday.

The three-year EPC contract covers the installation of two incinerators, two waste heat boilers and one steam turbine generator unit.
