February 4 (Renewables Now) - Canadian clean energy investor Capstone Infrastructure Corporation (TSE:CSE-A) has bought the 10-MW Watford wind farm in Ontario from Zephyr Farms Limited.

The wind farm in question is located near the municipality of Brooke-Alvinston. It has a power purchase agreement (PPA) that expires in 2032.

CEO David Eva commented that the Watford Wind Facility complements Capstone Infrastructure’s existing wind farms in the area. With the latest purchase, the company’s portfolio in Ontario alone reaches 194 MW.

Capstone owns and operates roughly 543 MW of net installed capacity in Canada, including wind, solar, hydroelectric, biomass and natural gas power plants.
