Swiss energy company Axpo Holding AG has agreed to buy the full output and the tradable electricity certificates generated by the 111.2-MW Egersund wind farm in Norway.
The company announced the power purchase agreement (PPA) on Tuesday, struck by subsidiary Axpo Nordic AS. The contract will enter into force once the wind park is up and ready to run in the second half of 2017.
The Egersund project was acquired by European asset manager Luxcara in September. German company Senvion SA (ETR:SEN) is supplying 33 units of its 3.4M114 wind turbines for the park in the province of Rogaland.
