Theolia shares rebound on Paris bourse ahead of H1 2012 results

Aug 21, 2012 - Shares in French wind power projects group Theolia (EPA:TEO) had jumped by 16.95% on Euronext Paris at 1523 CET today ahead of the group's first-half results, to be released on August 31.
In midday trading, the company's shares had even registered a surge of 22%, reaching EUR 1.44 on the bourse, which was somehow surprising for investors given the absence of any corporate statements.
The group has already reported revenue of EUR 35.8 million (USD 44.6m) for the first half of the year, up 31% compared with a year before. The turnover of Theolia's business dedicated to sales of electricity for own account soared by 21% to EUR 26.3 million.
In the second half of July, the company carried out a reverse stock split thanks to which two Theolia shares with a par value of EUR 0.70 became one share with a nominal value of EUR 1.40.
Theolia develops, builds and operates wind farms in four main countries, namely France, Germany, Italy and Morocco. In total, the group operates 903 MW for its own account and for third parties.
