Taaleri Energia refinances 158-MW wind farm in Serbia

Helsinki-based renewables developer and fund manager Taaleri Energia said that it has refinanced the 158-MW Cibuk wind farm it co-owns in Serbia.

The refinancing of EUR 205 million (USD 197.6m) was extended by lenders UniCredit, Credit Suisse, Eurobank and OTP Bank.

Cibuk, featuring 57 GE turbines installed some 50 kilometres (31.1 miles) from Serbia’s capital Belgrade, is the largest wind farm in the country. It started operation in 2019.

Taaleri owns the project through Taaleri SolarWind I Fund alongside co-investors Finnfund, UAE-based renewables company Masdar and German development finance institution DEG.
