Weekly renewables M&A round-up (Aug 15-19)
Aug 19, 2022 17:14 CESTAugust 4 (Renewables Now) - Swire Energy Services (SES) has made its second wind-focused purchase in 2021, acquiring Danish wind services provider ALL NRG, the buyer announced on Monday.
The acquired business was set up in 2014 by Nordic private equity firm Via Equity through the acquisition of four separate firms, namely APRO Wind, VB Enterprise A/S, Q-Star Energy A/S and WTG Partners A/S. Currently operating across wind markets in Europe and Asia, ALL NRG provides manpower services and project solutions including installation, commissioning and decommissioning support, blade inspection and repairs, as well as HV services.
ALL NRG is now being rebranded to Swire Energy Services.
In June, SES also bought a majority stake in Portugal-based wind operations and maintenance (O&M) technology start-up BladeInsight, which currently services the wind markets in Europe, North and South America.
Before that, in May, SES opened a workspace in Lysaker, Norway, to support the company’s new offshore wind division.
