Swedish Atlas Copco closes acquisition of SCA Schucker

Oct 10, 2011 - Swedish compressor and machinery group Atlas Copco AB (STO:ATCO A) had completed the acquisition of German adhesive equipment manufacturer SCA Schucker, the Swedish company announced on Friday.

The move was granted all necessary regulatory approvals, Atlas Copco said.

SCA Schucker now operates as a separate business line within the business area Industrial Technique's Motor Vehicle Industry division, the Swedish company said.

The German company generated a revenue of EUR 600 million (USD 813.9m) in 2010. It employs around 280 workers.
