Suzlon's Seforge secures wind sector orders of USD 41m
Oct 3, 2011 - Indian wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy (BOM:532667) said today that its unit Seforge had secured INR 2 billion (USD 41m/EUR 30m) in new orders from the wind power sector.
The subsidiary makes large-size castings and large diameter forged and machined rings. It got an INR-1.2-billion contract from a wind turbine tower maker for the supply of tower flangs. It also secured an INR-800-million order for castings from a major wind power firm, Seforge CEO Kamlesh Bhadani said.
