(ADPnews) - Nov 30, 2010 - Indian wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy (BOM:532667) said today its German subsidiary Repower Systems AG (ETR:RPW) clinched two deals with energy firm Energiekontor UK Construction Ltd to deliver 21 wind turbines.
Financial details of the contracts have not been disclosed.
The turbines have a total capacity of 43.05 MW and will be used at two wind farm facilities of the British company. Nine of the turbines will be provided for Energiekontor UK's wind project in Yorkshire and twelve of them will be delivered to its Hyndburn wind farm in Lancashire, with the latter expected to generate about 70 million KWh of electricity a year.
Repower, in which Suzlon holds more than 90%, said the two wind farms are planned to be completed in 2012.
