Suzlon's Repower wins 219 MW of wind turbine orders

Jul 31, 2012 - Indian wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy (BOM:532667) said Tuesday its German subsidiary Repower Systems SE had won 219 MW of orders in Australia, France, Germany, Italy and Poland over the past two months.

The orders, which are worth some EUR 247 million (USD 201m), exclude deals that have been separately announced by Repower.

The projects to use the company's machines include several wind farms in Germany, where Repower will install its latest 3.4M104 and 3.2M114 wind turbine models. The rest of the projects will feature the company's MM92 and MM82 turbines.
