Suzlon unveils 105 MW of wind turbine supply deals in India

Suzlon Energy Ltd (BOM:532667) said on Wednesday that during the current quarter it has received orders for the supply of 105 MW of its wind turbines for various projects in five Indian states.
The company has signed deals with unnamed small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public sector undertaking (PSU) customers to deliver a total of 50 pieces of its 2.1-MW S9X series wind turbines. The machines will be installed at various low wind speed sites in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
The company did not disclose the combined value of the contracts.
Since its inception, Pune-based Suzlon has installed more than 14,000 MW of wind power capacity in 19 countries around the globe. In India alone, it has over 8,600 MW of cumulative installations.
