Weekly renewables M&A round-up (Aug 15-19)
Aug 19, 2022 17:14 CESTJuly 5 (Renewables Now) - Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA (BME:SGRE) on Monday said that it has received a firm order to supply 301 MW of turbines for a wind farm project in India.
The order comprises the supply of 87 pieces of the SG 3.4-145 turbines. It was placed by a customer who asked not to be identified, according to the turbine maker’s brief bourse filing.
The wind farm will be located in Hombal, in the Indian state of Karnataka. Siemens Gamesa expects the project to be commissioned by March 2023. No other details were shared.
