January 24 (Renewables Now) - German wind turbine manufacturer Senvion SA (ETR:SEN) will have a new finance head next month as Manav Sharma has informed the company that he is resigning.

Hans-Juergen Wiecha will thus assume the position of chief financial officer (CFO) as from February 1, 2019, Senvion announced on Thursday.

The wind turbine maker said in a statement that Sharma did not want to return to his CFO role after leading the company as interim CEO. Instead, he would like to explore new professional challenges outside Senvion, according to the announcement.

As per Wiecha, he most recently held the CFO position at Xella International SA and before that had the same role at Schmolz + Bickenbach AG and Gerresheimer AG.
