December 7 (Renewables Now) - German wind turbine manufacturer Senvion SA (ETR:SEN) said on Thursday it has completed the installation of several European wind farms with a combined capacity of 130 MW.

Specifically, the company has erected 33 units of its 3.4M114 turbines as part of Norsk Vind Egersund AS’s 112-MW Egersund wind project in Rogaland, Norway. The plant is expected to be producing enough electricity a year to meet the annual consumption of about 20,000 local homes.

Meanwhile, Senvion has finalised the 8-MW Malibunar wind farm in Serbia, which uses four MM100 turbines capable of supplying power to 7,200 households. Also, the firm has concluded work on the 10-MW Teevurcher wind farm in County Meath, Ireland.

Each of Norway, Serbia and Ireland are new markets for Senvion, it noted. Yesterday, the company announced two new Irish orders for a total of 27 MW.
