ScottishPower Renewables to present 3 Scottish wind schemes in Jul
Jul 3, 2013 - ScottishPower Renewables, part of Spanish Iberdrola SA (MCE:IBE), said Tuesday it would hold several public consultations this month to present three wind farm projects it plans to develop in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
The company said the projects are currently in early development phase and an initial environmental survey is ongoing at the moment.
Among the planned wind parks are the Euchanhead wind system near Sanquhar, planned to be constructed on forest lands, and the Kirkconnell and Cormilligan facility. The developer will also build an extension to its 18-MW Wether Hill wind park.
ScottishPower Renewables will organise public meetings in the towns of Carsphairn, Moniaive and Sanquhar on July 9 to 11, 2013.
