Sauer Energy installs two vertical wind turbines on HQ roof
Oct 3, 2012 - US wind power technology developer Sauer Energy Inc (OTC:SENY) said Tuesday it had installed two of its WindCharger vertical-axis wind turbines (VAWT) on the roof of the company’s new headquarters (HQ).
The WindCharger is designed as a modular system that allows easy installation and takes one square yard (0.83 sq m) of space of an average rooftop.
The two turbines installed at Sauer’s headquarters in Camarillo, California, will serve as a visual display of the company’s technology.
Dieter Sauer, Sauer’s chief executive and president, said that the WindCharger is currently being tested in Mexico for application on mobile phone towers Central and South America.
