Weekly renewables M&A round-up (May 23-27)
May 27, 2022 17:26 CESTDecember 23 (Renewables Now) - Danish offshore wind major Ørsted A/S (CPH:ORSTED) said on Thursday it is initiating the process to identify a new chief financial officer (CFO) for the company as Marianne Wiinholt has decided to step down from that position.
Wiinholt will continue in the role until June 30, 2022, at the latest and will then move to a position outside the energy industry. She has been part of Ørsted over the past 17 years, including eight years as finance head.
“While Marianne will be sorely missed, she leaves Ørsted in great shape for our future journey and with a very strong Finance and IT organisation. This also gives us a strong pool of internal potential successors for the CFO position,” commented CEO Mads Nipper.
