May 3 (Renewables Now) - Natixis Asset Management’s Mirova and RIVE Private Investment have bought the 60-MW Le Douiche shovel-ready wind project in France from Germany’s Nordex (ETR:NDX1), the latter announced today.

The German wind turbine maker said in a statement it will be supplying 20 units of the N117/3000 model for this project and will also be servicing the wind farm over a period of 20 years. Nordex expects to install the turbines this summer and to have the plant up and running in late 2018.

The two buyers have negotiated debt financing for the project with HSH Nordbank AG, according to the announcement.

Jocelyn Dioux, investment director at RIVE Private Investment, commented that the Le Douiche transaction allows the company to reach EUR 2 billion (USD 2.4bn) of investments in this asset class.
