Croatia's net electricity output down 5.6% y/y in April – table
Jun 24, 2022 18:49 CESTJune 22 (Renewables Now) - Greek construction company Intrakat SA (ATH:INKAT) has signed a partnership agreement with Belgium’s Parkwind NV to jointly develop offshore opportunities off the coast of Greece, it announced on Tuesday.
The announcement highlights Intrakat’s experience with infrastructure projects and activity ramp-up in the field of renewable energy in 2021. The Greek group says it currently has a portfolio with over 1 GW of projects.
For Parkwind, the latest agreement fits within its international expansion strategy, Intrakat said. The Belgian offshore wind specialist has built four wind farms in home waters and is now installing its fifth off the coast of Germany.
“Greece, within the next years will develop this type of wind farms, which has obvious, multiple benefits, on a large scale. With the know-how and experience of both Intrakat and Parkwind, we aspire to become leaders in this field,” Intrakat’s leaders said.
