(ADPnews) - Oct 18, 2010 - US green fuel maker Pacific Ethanol Inc (NASDAQ:PEIX) announced today it will resume operations at its Stockton ethanol plant in California with an annual capacity of 60 million gallons (227 million litres).
The company expects the plant to start producing biofuel as early as December 2010.
Pacific Ethanol also considers resuming operations at its ethanol plant in Madera, California, which produces 40 million gallons per year.
Both plants are eligible for the California Ethanol Producer Incentive Program, designed to provide payments to operating Californian ethanol producers under specific conditions. On October 8, funding under the programme was approved as part of the California State Budget for 2010 through 2011.
