Pacific Ethanol receives 180-day extension to regain NASDAQ rules compliance

Dec 6, 2012 - US renewable fuel maker Pacific Ethanol Inc (NASDAQ:PEIX) said Wednesday it had received a 180-day extension to regain compliance with NASDAQ’s listing requirements that shares maintain closing bid price of at least USD 1.

On June 6, 2012, the company was informed by the NASDAQ Stock Exchange that it was not compliant with the minimum closing bid rule and was given a period of 180 days to regain compliance. The initial period ended on December 3, 2012.

Now the company will have until June 3, 2013 to make sure that its minimum closing bid price exceeds or is equal to USD 1 for at least ten consecutive business days.
