May 14 (Renewables Now) - Offshore Wind Consultants Ltd (OWC) said today it has been hired to provide project management services for Innogy SE's (ETR:IGY) 860-MW Triton Knoll offshore wind farm in the UK.

OWC, part of Norwegian energy consultancy Aqualis ASA (OSL:AQUA), did not disclose the value of the contract. The firm has provided similar services to previous offshore wind projects of Innogy such as the 576-MW Gwynt y Mor and 353-MW Galloper in the UK, as well as the 295-MW Nordsee Ost in Germany.

The Triton Knoll offshore wind farm, which won a contract for difference (CfD) from the UK government in 2017, will be built off the Lincolnshire coast. Construction of the project's onshore electrical system works is set to start this summer.
