Commenting on the recent court decision quashing the approval for the 448-MW Neart na Gaoithe offshore wind farm, Mainstream Renewable Power said “the matter is now in the hands of the Scottish Ministers to appeal”.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Irish company said that its equity partners, contractors and Mainstream are disappointed with Lord Stewart’s decision.
Inch Cape Offshore Ltd last week said it too is disappointed with the decision and will, together with legal advisors, “consult with Scottish Ministers to consider the next steps and decide how best to proceed”.
