German wind turbine maker Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) today said it has secured contracts to deliver 70.9 MW of turbines for two wind parks in Poland.
Danish wind and solar developer European Energy A/S has ordered 11 units of the N117/3600 machines for its 38.5-MW Liskowo wind project in northern Poland. The turbines will be mounted on tubular steel towers with 134 meters (439.6 ft) hub heights. Apart from supplying the hardware, Nordex will also take care of its installation.
The German manufacturer will also deliver nine turbines of the same model, the N117/3600, for a 32.4-MW wind park in the northern parts of Poland. The machines are planned to be delivered and installed in the middle of 2022, with commissioning scheduled to take place at the beginning of the next year.
Both deals include a premium service for the maintenance and servicing of the turbines for 15 years, Nordex said. The agreements can be extended twice by five years.
