Nordex bags 93 MW of autumn orders in France

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) today said it has secured this autumn orders to equip 93.3 MW of wind projects in France.

The company will deliver and install in 2017 total of 38 turbines of the N117/2400, N100/2500 and N90/2500 models under six separate contracts. The French deals also include servicing for 10 or 15 years. Nordex pointed out that the contracts are for turnkey turbine installation, including the transformer stations and infrastructure.

Through its Nordex Development division, the company has taken part in the development of three of the wind farms. Per project details were not disclosed.

The Nordex Group, which includes the recently acquired Acciona Windpower business, has installed 1.5 GW in France.
