Spain's hydrogen tech start-up H2SITE raises EUR 12m in Series A round
Jun 30, 2022 14:53 CESTMarch 31 (Renewables Now) - German wind company Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) today announced an order to supply the turbines for the 63-MW Mazeikiai wind project of Lithuanian renewables-focused utility Ignitis Group (VSE:IGN1L).
The park will use 14 pieces of N149/4.0-4.5 turbines of the Delta4000 series, mounted on tubular steel towers to optimise power generation at a site with average annual wind speeds of 7 m/s in the north-west of Lithuania. The hub heights for eight of the turbines will be 155 m, and 145 m for the other six.
Nordex said infrastructure works at the site are starting in mid-2021, while the delivery and installation of the turbines is planned for 2022. All will be operated in the 4.5 MW mode.
As part of the contract awarded by Ignitis, Nordex will also service the machines for a period of 15 years.
