Germany’s RWE Renewables has selected wind turbines by compatriot Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) for a 44-MW wind project in the Hauts-de-France region of northern France.
The scope of the deal covers the supply and installation of 11 N149/4.X machines from Nordex’s Delta4000 series, the wind turbine maker said in a press release on Tuesday. Financial details about the contract, being the group's first one for its Delta4000 platform turbines in France, were not provided.
The renewables arm of German energy major RWE AG (ETR:RWE) will use the hardware for its Nouvions wind farm project in the Aisne department, planned to enter construction in August 2022. The power plant is scheduled to come online in October 2022.
Nordex will be in charge of servicing the wind turbines under a five-year premium service contract.
