NIB extends EUR 20m loan for Ringkjobing Landbobank's wind programme

(ADPnews) - Dec 20, 2010 - The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) said on Friday it will extend a DKK-150-million (USD 27m/EUR 20m) loan to Danish bank Ringkjobing Landbobank AS (CPH:RILBA) for financing windmill investments in Jutland, western Denmark.

The 10-year loan will help finance part of 160 windmills to be distributed to 28 new wind farms which are part of Ringkobing-Skjern municipality's wind power plan.

NIB has provided the funds under its EUR-2-billion (USD 2.6bn) facility that targets climate-change-related initiatives.
