German energy producer and trader MVV Energie AG (ETR:MVV1) and renewable energy builders Windwaerts and Juwi on Friday announced the launch of a bundled solution for wind farm operators in Germany.
“MVV 20 plus” covers all from interface management to the operational management contract and electricity marketing, to system maintenance and insurance. VSB Technik, a specialist in the maintenance of Enercon turbines, is also a partner.
Stefan Sewckow, Managing Director of MVV Trading, explains that by bundling their Post-EEG wind marketing solutions, the companies are targeting plant operators for whom the world of direct marketers is simply too confusing. Details, in German, can be found here: https://www.mvv.de/partner/vermarktung/stromerzeugung/mvv20plus/.
In 2021, wind and solar parks that have been receiving subsidies under the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) for 20 years will be left without further support. Energy companies in Germany are developing various solutions to make the transition for the operators easier and keep these capacities in operation. EnBW, enviaM, SENEC and sonnen GmbH in June presented their “small direct marketing” concept for solar systems whose EEG support will expire soon.
