(ADPnews) - Oct 11, 2010 - Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas Inc, a unit of Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (TYO:7011), said on Thursday it broke ground on a USD-100-million (EUR 71.9m) nacelle plant in the US.
The plant will be built on a 200,000-sq-ft (18,581 sq m) land plot in the southern US state of Arkansas. It is scheduled to become operational by the autumn of 2011, opening 330 jobs.
Mitsubishi said this facility will be the first nacelle production plant outside Japan.
